Thank you for visiting my website!
I am a native of Denver, celebrating a successful career as a Realtor since 1970, serving Metropolitan Denver. And what a wonderful career it has been--thanks to all of my friends, clients and business associates for the trust, confidence, and loyalty placed in me through the years. It has been delightful working with each of my clients...sometimes generations in families. I am looking forward to continuing to provide the best real estate service possible!
Today, we have incredible technology available to aid me in serving my clients. Through the years, I have stayed on the cutting edge of education and technology, and have served our industry in the areas of education and professional standards at the South Metro Denver Realtor Association as Director and Vice President. I recently completed a three-year term as Director and Chair of the Philanthropy/Charities Committee and was accepted to participate in the Colorado Association of Realtors Leadership Academy. I also just received REALTOR EMERITUS status, a designation awarded for over 40 years of service as a Realtor. I have learned much through the years and I am eager to put my experience to work for you and continue serving my clients in real estate.
I believe in "Paying It Forward" to organizations who offer much to our Community. I currently serve as a Board member of The Kempe Foundation For the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect. The Foundation supports The Kempe Center and is a leader in the field. Kempe works under Four Pillars of CARE: clinical care, advocacy, research, and education.
In addition, I have enjoyed supporting other major organizations, in the past, including serving as a Board Member and Vice President of Project Aspire Scholarship Foundation, and a volunteer for Excelsior Youth Center, Bessie's Hope, Invisible Disabilities Association, L'Esprit du Noel Home Tour, the former Metro Denver Realtor Foundation, Saint Catherine Philoptochos Tables Extraordinaire, and the Rotary International's Annual "State of The City of Centennial" Luncheon.
It was an honor to be featured as a "Have You Met" for Blacktie Colorado. My thanks to Nancy Koontz for this interview! Please visit: https://www.blacktie-colorado.com/have-you-met/victoria-gartelos
I have a strong belief in education and consider myself a “forever student”. I attended The University of Denver after graduating from Denver South High School. I then took what I call a meaningful 30 year "detour" to raise my sons and build my real estate practice. After my sons graduated from Colorado State University, I decided it was time to return to DU-Colorado Women’s College. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with a Minor in Business, Spring 2015...my goal is accomplished! In September 2016 I returned to the University of Denver-University College where I just completed my Master's Certificate in Philanthropic Leadership (August 2018).
I am a member of Saint Catherine Greek Orthodox Church in Greenwood Village. I have served on boards, committees and chaired events through the years at both Assumption Cathedral and Saint Catherine's.
Of all my achievements, being a Mother is what I consider the most important! My sons, Reverend George Gartelos and Dean Gartelos, have blessed my life, along with their wives, my “daughters”, and my five treasured grandchildren.
I hope this note has given you a little insight about me, and if you are seeking the services of a Realtor that you will call upon me. I am just a phone call or email away. I pledge excellent service, knowledge, professionalism, and results for all your real estate needs!
